SCR System

What is SCR?

SCR system (Stand for Selective Catalytic Reduction) is a means of converting nitrogen oxides, also referred to as NOx with the aid of a catalyst into diatomic nitrogen, N2, and water, H2O.
A gaseous reductant, typically anhydrous ammonia, aqueous ammonia or urea, is added to a stream of flue or exhaust gas and is adsorbed[citation needed] onto a catalyst. Carbon dioxide, CO2 is a reaction product when urea is used as the reductant.

FPSO MILLS READY 2015 ENDING

The second FPSO is expected to begin storing and producing oil from the TEN fields from mid-2016. The FPSO is expected to produce some 75,000 barrels of crude per day initially for 20 years.

Tullow Ghana Limited General Manager Charles Darko told an Accra based Radio that the TEN projects were ahead of schedule. “The TEN project is progressing steadily. We have just cross the 50% oval project completion and it’s on track. One of the key elements which is the FPSO is also progressing and we are expecting that by the end of this year it will be in Ghanaian waters so it’s on track. It will ramp up to it main plate of about75,000 barrels per day, any time from mid-2016 to December 2016,” he explained.
Charles Darko disclosed that the first wells to deliver the oil have been drilled and that Tullow is committed to meeting its targets.
The second FPSO being built in Singapore will have an oil storage capacity of 1.7 million barrels and a gas capacity and water injection capacity of 170mn standard cubic feet daily and 120,000 barrels water daily respectively.

New FPSO Vessel in GHANA
The new Floating, Production, Storage and Offloading Vessel (FPSO) being constructed by Tullow Ghana for the Tweneboa, Enyaera, Ntomme (TEN) oil exploration project has been named after late President John Evans Atta Mills.
The new FPSO is being built in Singapore by Tullow Ghana and partners such as MODEC and Jurong Shipyard Limited.
Mr. Emmanuel Kofi Buah, Ghana’s Energy Minister, led a delegation to Singapore to inspect and name the facility.
They delegation included Mr. Charles Darku, the General Manager of Tullow, Mr. Theophilous Ahwireng, Chief Executive of Ghana Petroleum Commission, Mr. Alex Mould of GNPC, Mr. Victor Sunu-Attah, Chief Petroleum Engineer at GNPC, Mrs. Bernice Natue, Communication Manager at Tullow as well as other officials from the partnering companies.
The Energy Minister said the FSPO was named after the late President due to his honest and dedicated service to Ghana adding, “Late President Mills stood for excellence and the new FPSO will deliver just that.”
He said the government was determined to make the oil resources a blessing more than a curse to the country and that the setting up of the Petroleum Commission, the Petroleum Management Revenue Act and the Local Content Bill were all geared towards that.
There are three Ghanaian Engineers working on the facility and the local content was also given a boost when some components of the facility was given to local contractors including Seaweld Engineering and MODEC.

EKOMERI will prepare the basic Oil FPSO Topside System in a soon and it would be great for anyone to interest in FPSO system.

WATER SPRAY EXTINGUISHING SYSTEM

As a fire extinguishing device that subdues fires through suffocation and refrigeration using water mists, NK water sprayer fire extinguisher equipment has the strong point of taking the place of alternative fire fighting equipments, and can minimize the damages that are created during fire extinguishing process.
This fire extinguishing equipment, a mechanism that installs smoke detecting system and automatic sprinkler fire extinguishing equipment at the same time by applying signal source and responsibility required by marine regulations, is an integrated system for fire sensing and active control of fire that consists of three major parts considering the benefits of reducing customer costs and more reliable installation.
System Classification
– High Pressure Water Sprayer Fire Extinguishing Equipment
– Low Pressure Water Sprayer Fire Extinguishing Equipment
– Accumulative Water Sprayer Fire Extinguishing Equipment
Application Scope
Water sprayer equipment is applied for particular danger area, main engine room, auxiliary engine room, oil using boiler, incinerator, purifying room, HVAC control room, technique and switch board room, and local areas of kitchen hood for ships like freight liner, passenger ship, car ferry, high speed boat, automotive transporting ship, yacht, navy fleet, and shore excavating ship (including accommodation excavating ship), etc.
